ABIDE Backpack Drive

Many students and families cannot afford the necessary school supplies, backpacks, and clothing required for a successful academic year. By donating, you help ensure that all children have an equal opportunity to access education and succeed in school.

I had the honor of collecting funds to put together 27 backpacks for ABIDE Omaha. These bags were filled with all the essential items needed for back to school, including notebooks, pens, crayons, tissues, and so much more!

Having the required school supplies and new clothing can boost a student's self-esteem and confidence. When children feel prepared and confident, they are more likely to engage actively in the learning process. When students are engaged in their education, it contributes to a stronger and more effective education system overall. This benefits not only the students themselves but also the schools and educators.
