Project Santa

I was blessed with the opportunity to host a toy drive for Omaha's Open Door Mission "Project Santa". I set a goal of raising $500 worth of toys, but ended my drive with over $750!

Open Door Mission is a nonprofit organization that provides various services to individuals and families in need, such as shelter, food, clothing, and support programs. They often run initiatives and campaigns to assist vulnerable populations, particularly during the holiday season.

The basic idea behind "Project Santa" is to ensure that every child has a memorable and enjoyable holiday experience, regardless of their family's financial circumstances. These projects rely heavily on community support and donations, as well as the efforts of volunteers who help organize, collect, sort, and distribute the donated items.
